Bangalore The Capital city of  the Karnataka state, origanlly founded by Kempegowda of Magadi in 1537, is popularly known as the Garden City. It is one of the loveliest cities in India and is considered as the fastest growing cities in the world. With well laid out parks and gardens, long avenues of brightly blossomed trees and salubrious climate throughout the year. Though it is also the greatest industrial and commercial centres of South India, the pollution level has not exceeded the limit in many parts of the city.
      
      There is an amusing tale regarding the origin of the city which is stated as Bendakaluru(the place of boiled beans), commiting it to the memory of King Veera Ballala, who after a tiring hunting expedition, shared a meal of boiled beans at the hut of an old women. The city has now far exceeded the limits of its boundaries origanally set by Kempegowda.
